To Consume

To consume is to take in or use up. I do not know if our habits of consumption can provide a pitcure of our ethical responsibilities or not, but I do think they can give insight on our environmental responsibilities. What a person consumes varies from person to person and that has really nothing to do with ethics, in my opinion. I mean some people consume too many big macs, while other consume to much porn on the internet. A person consumption of daily products in life has no ethical bearing. I suppose that if one debated on the ethical testing of cosmetics on animals, then yeah those who wear make-up might have some eithical issues with those who do not. Same goes for those who watch porn. Those who wish to see it abolished would have different ethical values from those who enjoy watching it. But, as for our ethical responsibilities our consumption does not carry much weight. However, it does have to do with our environmental responsibilities.
